Background

Home Made is a mobile app connecting households and organizations with skilled professionals - from cleaners and electricians to carpenters and stylists - all at the tap of a button.

Problem Statement

User's have had a hard time getting good skilled professionals at the particular time they need the service. Some of these services might include painter, tutor beautician & many more.

The Goal

The main aim of this project is to give users an intuitive & smooth experiences & obtain all their needs by the services provided. Home Made app allows users request, book & hire professionals with ease & comfort.

My Role
Research

Prior to initiation, comprehensive user research, interviews, competitor analysis, and empathy mapping were conducted to crystallize the project's vision.

UX Design & Wireframes

The goal is to create a swift, smooth, and understandable user experience. Wireframes are utilized to envision the application's layout.

Visual Design

A visually stimulating and captivating user interface, featuring an interactive color palette and distinctive iconography, is designed to engage and attract users effectively.

Design Process

The User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology was integral to my design process, emphasizing a user-first approach throughout each phase. The project timeline illustrates the duration spent on each stage, from initial research to the completion of the final product.

Target Audience Research

The target audience are household & families. It can be used by both single Men & Women who have busy schedules as well as for their comfort & also for families.

Age 21-36

Thus is the average age of single men & women who spend their valuable time busy with work & will benefit greatly from the services rendered by Artisan.

Age 36-46

They are the family people. They are mostly the busiest & the ones with kids. They are more likely to need various services that will help ease their busy schedule.

Age 46-66

They are the elderly ones who usually have grand-children & most likely to need various services to help with daily chores.

I carried out a survey on 32 people from all walks of life to better understand user problems & challenges. Some survey questions & statistics result are given below.
