Project Overview
Background
The Home Made is a mobile App that helps you hire professional Workers/Artisans with a simple click. This application will cater to both households & organizations, it will offer & prefer services such as cleaning, electrician, carpenter, welder, private hair stylist, & many more.
Problem Statement
User’s have had a hard time getting good skilled professionals at the particular time they need the service. Some of these services might include painter, tutor beautician & many more.
My Role
Research
Prior to initiation, comprehensive user research, interviews, competitor analysis, and empathy mapping were conducted to crystallize the project's vision.
UX Design & Wireframes
The goal is to create a swift, smooth, and understandable user experience. Wireframes are utilized to envision the application's layout.
Visual Design
A visually stimulating and captivating user interface, featuring an interactive color palette and distinctive iconography, is designed to engage and attract users effectively.
The Goal
The main aim of this project is to give users an intuitive & smooth experiences & obtain all their needs by the services provided. Home Made app allows users request, book & hire professionals with ease & comfort.

Target Audience Research
The target audience are household & families. It can be used by both single Men & Women who have busy schedules as well as for their comfort & also for families.
Age 21-36
Thus is the average age of single men & women who spend their valuable time busy with work & will benefit greatly from the services rendered by Artisan
Age 36-46
They are the family people. They are mostly the busiest & the ones with kids. They are more likely to need various services that will help ease their busy schedule.
Age 46-66
They are the elderly ones who usually have grand-children & most likely to need various services to help with daily chores

Goals
- Get artisans any time of the day.
- Book all artisans to be needed at the beginning of the week.
- Get artisans from a trusted & registered company.
- Be able to get artisans urgently without having to look ahead.
Frustrations
- Can't find artisans when I need them urgently.
- Doesn't trust different services.
- A busy schedule doesn't allow her to remember to call artisans monthly for recurring services.

Goals
- Need to know the reasons for the extra charges.
- Need to be notified before the appointments get cancelled.
- It would be better if technician directly visits instead of giving instructions through phone call.
Frustrations
- Losing bills & found difficulty in claiming warranty.
- Would have not cancelled the service if he already knew about the cancellation charges.
- Service centre not confirming appointment so he has to find another one.
- Technician not showing up on time or not showing up at all.
I need to be able to rely on an app when I need a professional and have a holistic view of the services I have booked.

I interviewed both current and potential users of an app addressing this issue, as well as skilled workers and artisans, to understand their service experiences and gather insights on potential improvements for both providers and users.

This gives information about scheduled appointments and appointments history.
Scheduled Appointments
The user is able to view all upcoming booked services with the option to cancel or contact the artisan.
Refer a Friend
This allow users refer an Artisan who they enjoyed their service to a friend.
Appointments History
Users can view past completed and cancelled appointments, with an option to refer the artisan to a contact or friend.
Artisan Profile
Showing a full detailed profile of the artisan including information about the artisan, services offered, and reviews.
Gallery
This feature allows users to view the gallery of the artisan and see their previous works.
Pick your specialist
Users can now pick their preferred specialist based on their ratings and reviews.
Service Details
The user can now view the details of the service they want to book, including the price, duration, and description.
Verified Partners
Users can now view the verified partners of the platform and choose to book their services.
Prototype
This is a prototype of the final product that we are aiming to build.
